About this role
Bridport Primary School seeks an Inclusion Lead to drive inclusive practice across its campus and at Bridport St Mary’s CE Primary School. The role centres on advancing the progress, achievement and holistic wellbeing of pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, those facing learning barriers, and disadvantaged learners. You will lead the development of a new specialist resource provision for social, emotional, mental health needs while shaping the existing Inclusion Hub at St Mary’s, working closely with headteachers, teaching leads and support staff across both settings.
Essential requirements include Qualified Teacher Status, a NASENCO National Award or NPQ for SENCOs, proven expertise in SEND strategies, and experience supporting vulnerable learners. Desirable is experience across multiple settings and senior leadership background. The position offers full-time hours with a competitive salary within the local authority band, alongside dedicated time for strategic leadership, extensive professional development and the chance to influence inclusion practice across the partnership.
