Practice Nurse

Somer Valley Medical Group seeks a registered adult nurse to join its clinical team in Radstock, Somerset, providing treatment-room care across its three local sites. The role involves 30 hours per week of autonomous nursing, delivering immunisations, wound management, cervical cytology, leg-ulcer treatment and health-education advice, while supporting GP colleagues and supervising healthcare assistants. Candidates must hold a current NMC registration, have at least two years of post-registration experience and demonstrate competence in medication administration under PGDs/PSDs, as well as proficiency with electronic patient-record systems such as TPP System One or EMIS Web.

The position offers a permanent contract with hourly pay ranging from £16.38 to £20.37, depending on experience, and the opportunity to develop within a collaborative team of fifteen nurses, GPs, HCAs and phlebotomists. Essential requirements include a full driving licence and access to a vehicle, with primary-care experience considered desirable.
