The role is a permanent Matron position within the Acute Directorate of Rotherham Care Group, based at Swallownest Court on Aughton Road in Sheffield. It covers leadership of Adult Mental Health, Crisis Services and Older People Services across the acute directorate. The post is central to shaping safety culture and leading teams in delivering therapeutic, high-quality care in line with NHS governance standards. Strong interpersonal abilities, resilience, and the capacity to influence across all levels are critical, alongside recent inpatient experience and a solid understanding of patient safety frameworks. The role offers a salary of £57,528 to £64,750 per annum under the Agenda for Change terms, with flexible working arrangements available.
