Senior Clinical Photographer - Photography Led Dermatology Clinic Lead The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust seeks a Senior Clinical Photographer to lead the Photography Led Dermatology Clinic within its dermatology services across Wolverhampton and Walsall sites. This permanent role involves managing the clinical photography workflow for complex dermatology cases, including specialist imaging techniques such as wet and non-contact dermoscopy, mole mapping, UV and IR photography, and video capture. The position requires expert use of DSLR and mobile equipment, strict adherence to consent, infection control, and data protection protocols, and the ability to advise medical staff on optimal imaging approaches. Responsibilities include post-capture image processing using specialised software, maintaining CPD records for Institute of Medical Illustrators membership, and ensuring high-quality visual documentation for clinical assessment, research, and teaching.
Applicants must hold full professional membership of the Institute of Medical Illustrators and AHCS registration, with a BSc in Medical Illustration or a photography-related qualification supplemented by a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Photography.
