Advanced Practice Reporting Radiographer (Planar) offers a permanent position at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust in Southampton, Hampshire. The role involves autonomous planar reporting across specialties including major trauma, oncology, cardiology and neurology, with protected reporting sessions of at least 50% of working time. You will interpret complex scans, contribute to peer review and audit, and deliver high-quality imaging services while providing expert advice and education within the radiography team.
The post requires a Postgraduate Certificate in clinical reporting in a relevant area, Health and Care Professions Council registration, a BSc (Hons) in diagnostic radiography, and significant post-qualification experience in radiology. Essential experience includes audit, research, management or supervisory duties, governance knowledge, and teaching or mentoring responsibilities. Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council and eligibility to work in the United Kingdom are mandatory, together with indemnity insurance or membership of the Society of Radiographers.
