Warehouse Assistant

The role is based in a small warehouse team at UHS Estates Limited in Eastleigh, Hampshire, supporting the University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust. You will manage goods received, operate warehouse systems such as Oracle, and drive vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes to deliver supplies across hospital sites, requiring a full clean driving licence. The position involves physical work, including forklift operation (training provided), maintaining tidy storage areas, and assisting clinical staff with stock handling. Hours are 07:30 to 15:30, Monday to Friday, with a permanent contract. Pay falls within Band 3 of the Agenda for Change scale, ranging from £25,760 to £27,476 annually. Essential requirements include demonstrable experience in warehousing or logistics, strong organisational skills, numeracy, and customer care abilities.
