Management Accountant

The role is based in the Finance Division at University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust, working within the city’s main hospital campus on Tremona Road. It is a permanent position offering a salary of £32,073 to £39,043 per annum, inclusive of a pro rata adjustment for part-time arrangements. The post reports to the Divisional Finance Manager and forms part of the Agenda for Change band 5 pay scale.

Applicants must hold a graduate-level qualification or be an AAT member, with at least three years’ experience in a finance environment and a solid grasp of budgetary control, financial systems and general ledger processes. Essential IT skills include proficiency with spreadsheet modelling, Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams) and accurate data entry. Desirable experience includes supervisory responsibility within a team and prior work in the NHS or public sector.
