The role is a permanent part-time position based at Southampton General Hospital, working 18.75 hours per week within the pharmacy anti-infectives team. It supports the delivery of sustainability-focused medicines optimisation projects across University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust, including reducing intravenous medicine use, supporting patient transitions between formulations and improving the environmental impact of prescribing. Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills are required, alongside proven experience in audits, training delivery and service improvement. Desirable experience includes team leadership or quality improvement qualifications. The role offers a salary of £39,959 to £48,117 annually under the Agenda for Change pay scheme, with access to NHS discounts, 35 days’ annual leave (pro rata) and a generous pension scheme.
